This information remains securely stored on an internal server for our archiving and reference purposes.
You can request the deletion of this personal data at info@vwa.nu. Excluded from this is data that must be kept by us by law for the purposes of, for example, the tax authorities.
Sharing relationship information with third parties
VWA does not sell your data to third parties and will provide it only if necessary for the performance of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. With companies that process your data on our behalf, we enter into a processor agreement to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. Third party websites
This privacy statement does not apply to third-party websites that are linked to the VWA website through links. This is because VWA cannot guarantee that these websites will handle your personal data in a reliable or secure manner. Before using the relevant website, always read the privacy statement of that website for more information on how they handle your data.
Personal user data from websites/e-commerce traffic
VWA employees have access to relationships’ website/e-commerce management systems. Visitor data is stored in these systems. This includes order confirmations, newsletter subscriptions, completed contact forms and personal data stored in an extranet. For employees of VWA access to this data is important to perform work according to the contract and to adequately respond in case of maintenance and / or failure. VWA will only use these personal data to contact a visitor at the request of the client.
After termination of the agreement, the product/service and the associated database will be deleted. The personal data collected during the period of the applicable agreement will no longer be available. Unless other agreements have been made in writing about this.
Log files in website management systems
To manage a website, a personal account is created for customers. Changes made are stored in a log file under the name of this account. This log file with personal information is accessible to VWA employees. Based on this, issues can be traced back to the actions/accounts responsible for them.
Upon termination of the agreement, the product/service and its log file will be deleted. The personal data collected during the period of the applicable agreement is no longer available. Unless other agreements have been made in writing about this.
Backup procedure
A good backup procedure is important to VWA. When elements are lost due to maintenance work and/or changes to a delivered product/service, VWA can use a backup to limit the damage and costs for repairs. By default, a backup of a website is made and kept for 7 days. If you do not use a WordPress website, a monthly backup is also made of which one version is written to an internal secure server and one version is written via a secure connection (SSL) to an external secure server.
VWA employees have access to the written away backups of relations. Visitor data is stored in these backups. This includes order confirmations, newsletter subscriptions, completed contact forms and personal data stored in an extranet. Access to these backups is important for VWA employees to be able to respond adequately in case of maintenance and/or malfunction.
Upon termination of the agreement, the backup and associated database will be deleted. Backups collected during the period of the applicable agreement are no longer available. Unless other arrangements have been made in writing about this.
Hosting
The hosting of completed websites is provided externally. For this purpose, VWA has a reseller agreement with specialized hosting companies. This means that your website and the data collected by your website is placed on a server at one of our hosting partners. VWA has entered into a processing agreement with these hosting providers in which the security and safeguarding of your data is guaranteed by the hosting partner involved.
Google Analytics
For website statistics of our customers, a VWA analytics account/user is created. This collects analytical data about our clients’ website users. These statistics are accessible to VWA employees. The purpose of collecting this data is to improve the performance and user experience of a website.
Upon termination of the agreement, VWA will be removed from the Google analytics account as a user. Employees of VWA will then no longer have access to this account and its statistics.

How VWA secures personal data
VWA takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent abuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized modification. If you have the impression that your data is not properly secured or there are indications of misuse, please contact us at info@vwa.nu. VWA has taken the following measures to secure your personal data:
- Security software, such as a virus scanner and firewall.
- The software used to view personal data is behind a password.
- When a workstation is not in use, it is set to inactive and the workstation is only accessible by password.
- Our employees are required to change their passwords every six months.
- We ensure that your website data is sent via an SSL certificate and thus a secure connection. You can tell this by the address bar ‘https’ and the padlock in the address bar.
- SPF is an Internet standard that we use to prevent you from receiving emails on our behalf that contain viruses, are spam or are intended to obtain personal (login) information.
- DNSSEC is an additional security (complementary to DNS) for converting a domain name to its associated IP address; it is provided with a digital signature. You can have that signature checked automatically. This way we prevent you from being redirected to a false IP address.
